Spaghetti

Ingredients:
  • spaghetti
  • canned chopped tomatoes (1 can)
  • mushrooms (10-15, sliced if big)
  • black olives (10-15)
  • parmesean cheese (sprinkle on at end)
  • oil
  • garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • onions (diced)
  • salt, pepper, paprika, basil (1 tsp each)
Instructions: Saute mushrooms, pour entire can of tomatoes in pan, add (already cooked) spaghetti, add olives and cheese.

Ramen

Cost: $1-2 | Feeds: 1
Ingredients:
  • instant ramen packet
  • potatoes
  • frozen mixed vegetables
  • oil
  • garlic
  • onion
  • tofu
  • egg (cook as you would like)
Instructions: But ramen and diced potatoes in boiling pot. Saute vegetables, cook egg, everything into a bowl. Top with tofu strips.

Dry Hot Pot

Prep Time: 25min | Active Prep Time: 15min Cost: $2-5 | Feeds: ? Ingredients:
  • frozen mixed vegetables
  • potatoes
  • tofu
  • anything else u want
  • oil
  • garlic
  • salt, hot chilli powder
Instructions: Put everything in wok and fry. Serve with rice.

Channa Masala

Prep Time: 40min | Active Prep Time: 25min Cost: $2-3 | Feeds: 2 Ingredients:
  • canned chick peas (1 can)
  • garlic (1 clove minced, optional)
  • onion (shredded to paste)
  • canned chopped tomatoes (1 can)
  • oil
  • mustard seeds
  • hot chilli pepper, coriander, cumin, salt
  • ginger (shredded, optional)
  • imli chutney (optional)
Instructions: Heat oil in pan. Add seeds to oil. Wait for seeds to start jumping. Add garlic and onions. Once onions turn translucent, add drained tomatoes follwed by all the spices. Let cook for a couple minutes, then add chick peas and water (to taste). Bring to a boil, then let simmer. Top with raw onions and imli chutney. Serve with set yogurt and rice, roti, or naan.
